About
Amber Viera is a multi-hyphenate creative whose love for storytelling has its roots in theatre and in tales spun by her Puerto Rican family. With purpose and story in her blood, Amber pursued Acting and Film at USC, graduating with honors.
She went on to pen several produced works, including the experiment of writing a vampire movie for Lifetime; and has acted in television, film, and theatre, including starring in a TV series on Freeform. The short film that she co-wrote and starred in, “Kept,” won multiple awards at festivals in 2020.
Recently, she has professionally co-produced commercial work and short films, worked as a freelance writing consultant, and directed a batch of advertisements. A highlight of her commercial accomplishments is the ad she wrote and co-produced for Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley’s bourbon company, which went viral with over 27 million views.
She also collaborates with her Film & TV writing partner, Patricia Lundy, and is currently developing several exciting projects for that space. In storytelling and in life, Amber is passionate about cultivating connection.
